Born in July 2020, in San Diego, CA, Simplemente Chingona is determined to create collections that reflect the strong, bold, beautiful women that we are.
Women can be daring yet feminine, courageous yet kind, relentless yet charming, unstoppable yet sexy. And that is how Simplemente Chingona is helping to reclaim the meaning of a “chingona”. Not only do we want to swift the meaning, but we also want to flaunt it, wear it!

We know that being a chingona may come from your abuela’s courage, your mom’s strength, or the inspiration from other women that are shining and striving.
Any woman that feels like she lives by her own terms, safe guards her freedom, and releases her power whenever and wherever she is, is definitely part of the chingona community.
We take pride on how our fashion brand celebrates all of them, and that is why we bring fun, confident and feminine clothing and accessories that express our mindset. Because no chingona wants to be restrained or restricted!
More than a movement, it is a lifestyle
We know chingonas take action, thereby in an effort to amplify our mission, we encourage activities that promote and empower women. In March 2022 we hosted the first La Chingonas Market, a place where local women-owned businesses, crafters and artisans created connections, shared opportunities, and built brand awareness.
This is the first step of another adventure. Under the vision of our director Xochitl, we are providing educational resources to the vendors who participate in the markets.
We invite you to join at the upcoming markets, scheduled one each month during the spring and summer time.

The Chingona attitude has no age limits, so the brand’s future is expanding to a younger market, where confidence and empowerment is consolidated. Our scope of who can be a chingona will be broaden with a little girl’s line that teaches them to speak up, follow their dreams and to grow into strong, intelligent, kind young ladies.
